• Store listings: submitted domains and publicly available store and product information, such as names, descriptions, country, language, currency, Shopify theme, product details, and prices.
• Technical information: request and error logs, including IP addresses and pages requested, and session information used to operate and protect the site.
• Correspondence: your email address and information you provide when you contact us.

The current directory does not require an account or payment to browse or submit a store. Records from earlier Store Detect features may remain subject to the retention and deletion provisions below.

How We Use Information

We use information to maintain and publish the store directory, process submissions, refresh listings, understand site usage, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. Store and product information is displayed publicly; correspondence and session records are not published as directory content.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Essential session cookies support form security and submission messages. The production site also uses traffic analytics and may display Google AdSense advertising.

When Google's advertising services load, your browser may share information such as your IP address and the page URL with Google. Google may set or read cookies and use this information to provide, measure, and personalize advertising, depending on your settings. Listed stores and promoted products operate their own websites and privacy policies. This policy covers Store Detect, not your interactions with those websites.

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the directory, provide support, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. We use access controls and session protections to safeguard information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
